Mrs. Mary K. Brown

Mary K. Brown, age 79, passed away April 1, 2014 at her home in Mt. Ida, AR. She was born on March 20, 1935 in Madill, OK to the late James Darrell Emery and Emma Mae Hopkins. Ms. Brown was a member of the pilot program for lady letter carriers in the early 1960s in Norfolk, Virginia. She continued her postal career until she retired in 1997. Her passions were her flower gardens and sewing for her grandchildren and she loved to travel.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Leroy Brown.

1 Sister: Thelma Young and husband Jasper

4 Grandchildren: Jarrod Wheeler and wife Michelle, Justin Wheeler and wife Kristin, Leeann Brown and AmyBrown

5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
